The Rehab Bible of Q&A's!
Over the years we have been asked many questions on hair, colouring and everything in between, therefore we have compiled a list of our most frequent questions that we receive by phone, along with some very helpful answers.
So now we are now only a web page away...and if in crisis get booked in with a member of our Rehab team!
Q. My hair is so Dry and the ends are split, what can I do?
A. Unfortunately once hair is broken there's no repairing it, it has to come off.
If that is not a option invest in some Moroccan oil treatment, it's formula helps to bring back lost proteins for strength, omega-3 oils for vitamins and shine and anti oxidants for protection-The perfect starting point.
I've messed up my Colour-get me out of this now!
Q. I have coloured my blonde hair too dark and now want to go back blonde how can I achieve this?
A. This colour will have to be lifted out with pre-lightener.
Q. I have blonde hair and want to go darker, or even a lighter brown how do I do this?
A.The best option is to use a semi-permant colour,a colour should be chosen that is a shade or two lighter as where the hair is very porous it will grab and can sometime show up darker.
After two or three applications of a semi-permant you can then move on to using a permanent colour...but ONLY if you know 100% you will not be going back blonde!

Q. I would like a pastel colour in my hair (pink, blue, green) how can get my dark hair this colour?
A. Existing colour will need to be lifted from your hair...think blank canvas, the lighter the hair the more vibrant the fashion colour will be.
We will need to pre-lighten your hair as light as we can get it without sacrificing condition. We advise a semi fashion colour due to the fact that the hair is porous from being lightened, the semi colour will grab and stay in the hair witha slight fade over time allowing you to refresh as time goes on and can be removed easily.
Q. I have black/dark brown hair and want to go light brown or blonde?
A. Firstly tint will not lift tint and you will NOT be able to put a lighter colour on top of this.
We always advise using a deep cleansing shampoo for a month or two to try to fade the colour slightly yourself.
We do not think 'stripping' hair is the best option.
What we may suggest is adding a few highlights over time so you do not damage the condition of your hair.
Q. I can not solve this problem myself, I need to book an appointment to see a Rehab stylist or colourist but I have not visited Rehab before.
